Biography

Working across Canada both On-Camera in Film and Television in addition to Voice Work, Jason recently wrapped the Incendo MOW "Sleeper" and is currently shooting a Confidential Project for CBS, all while recording Subway’s Spring/Summer 2017 Campaign plus lending his voice to two Series Regular roles in the animated series "Chop Chop Ninja" for Teletoon.  

Additional Film and Television credits include: Bryan Singer’s blockbusters "X-Men: Days of Futures Past” and “X-Men: Apocalypse", Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis' "The Walk" starring Joseph Gordon-Levit, CBS series "Beauty and the Beast”, the UK production, "Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell" and the CW', "Arrow”.  

Jason is an Honours graduate of Humber College's Radio Broadcasting program, and has worked at several radio stations as an Announcer & Creative Director, and is also a frequent guest on various podcasts, and host for events and shows. He's voiced thousands of commercials for clients such as Coke, Mitsubishi, Tums, Subaru & Movie Central, as well as lent his voice as the lead character in several hit animated series including "Bakugan" playing the popular role of Drago, Benkei in "Beyblade", and Bow Hothoof (Rainbow Dash's Dad) in "My Little Pony". He has also performed as an actor and MoCap artist in many videogames such as "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided", "Chuggington Puzzle Stations" and "NBA Live 18".  

On stage, Jason has done comedic turns in the plays "Little Shop of Horrors" (as the dentist), "Anne of Green Gables", and "Audience", in which he won an award for playing a 65-year-old Texan. A seasoned sketch comedian, Jason is a founding member of the sketch comedy troupe Radio Vault, a unique show modeled after '30s radio programs, while using modern comedic sensibilities. Jason co-wrote and directed television commercials that starred the troupe, and also performed in the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival. 

Jason is also a highly sought after voice coach. He created and teaches "Find Your Voice", a voiceover workshop for beginners & veterans alike, which he was recently asked to adapt for classes at The Second City. With a passion for voiceover, Jason has directed many commercials as well as the hit animated series Crack-Duck. Jason brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of performance, sound design, and team management, making him an ideal candidate for directing ads, cartoons and games.
